Terry began his yachting career as a deckhand onboard the sailing yacht “Georgiana” more than 14 years ago, and has been since involved in the marine industry since both in Australia and Europe. A qualified Commercial diver, he had his own underwater construction business in Australia as well as conducting Scuba diving charters on his own boat to the Great Barrier Reef. He has skippered a variety of vessels in Australia as well as Europe and the Caribbean, culminating in his last command being the well-known S.Y. “Phocea.” He is proud to be the new Captain on board “Aurora,” and looks forward to sharing his knowledge, experience and enthusiasm with all who come on board.
Paul Fleming – Chef (30 yrs)
Paul has no shortage of experience with superyachts having sailed onboard other high profile yachts such as “Liberty” and “Thetis”. His distinctive style shows through at every meal and his passion for travel has opened his range into areas that must be experienced and not described to do them justice. Paul spent 13 years within the hotel trade and since then he has worked consistently at the top end of the charter yacht market. Without a doubt Paul will be able to surprise you at every meal and make the dining onboard a true high point of your time with “Aurora”.
Virginie Maeght - Chief Stewardess (33 yrs)
Virginie is our French connection, a native of an area just outside Paris her background within yachting is varied having spent time aboard “Atmosphere”, “Elanymor” and “African Queen”. Virginie’s skills as leader of the interior department are superb and she always has a smile ready. As a newcomer to the “Aurora” team, she is making the yacht her own and it is a pleasure to have her onboard.

Andrew Pietroni - First Mate (30 yrs)
Andrew is a real asset to “Aurora” and her top class condition is owed to his hard work and dedication. Andrew has sailed with a variety of yachts including names such as “Shenandoah”, “Altair” and his latest “Thetis”. His Cypriot background and careful manner are exactly what are needed on the deck to make guests feel safe and comfortable. Andrew joins “Aurora” after some time at college bringing his knowledge up to the latest available and he is very keen to get back into boat life and watersports.
Jacqui Williamson – Stewardess (31 yrs)
Jacqui is also a relative newcomer to the yachting industry but she has a strong background in working within and managing restaurants and bars. Jacqui has spent the some time working whilst based in Palma de Mallorca and she has the fun-loving spirit that Palma breeds. Jacqui is just the person to look after everything for you and she comes to “Aurora” with a real desire to help people enjoy their stay onboard.
Tate Knowles – Deckhand (30 yrs)
Tate has left the world of banking to rejoin the yachting industry after an absence of two years, his last position was onboard a 50 metre yacht that traveled from Europe to Australia for the Olympic Games spending a lot of time in the South Pacific and the south of the Caribbean Sea. Tate is always keen to tackle new positions and he is sure to do everything he can to help the guests enjoy their time aboard.
Jacob Van Der Wath - 2nd Engineer/Deckhand (24 yrs)
Jacob has been involved in yachting over the last few years on boats such as “Atlantide” and “Rasselas”. Jacob has joined us from South Africa and his calm and solid outlook is perfect in his varied role, you may find him ensuring all the systems are operating onboard or driving you into a beautiful port aboard one of the tenders. Another newcomer to “Aurora” he has found himself a new home and looks forward to meeting you onboard.
Natalie Klerck – Stewardess (26 yrs)
Natalie is our second South African crew on board, and has recently joined “Aurora” in Italy. She has worked on a variety of yachts including “Sweet Caroline”, S/Y “Hedal” and S/Y “Helios” – where she was promoted to Chief Stewardess. She comes as a breath of fresh air to “Aurora” and always is smiling and willing to assist where required. She will make a great team with Virginie and Jacqui to ensure the guests on board are well looked after.
